"Ironically enough, I actually applied for school as an exercise science major because it was apparently the easiest way to get accepted into college. I really had no intentions of staying in the program long and truly believed I wanted to work in the world of business, wearing a suit and answering phone calls. Things changed for me when I took and passed Anatomy and Physiology level 1 at USC and was surprised to find out that this was one of the more difficult courses offered in the entire program. Things changed for me because it was the first time I truly didn’t dread going to class or hate doing the homework because in all honesty I throughly enjoyed it. I loved learning about what makes our bodies tick and the extreme intricacies of our bodies. So I decided to stay in the program and continue with my education, along the way I began coaching people without getting paid to do it but instead for fun. Then after a while a coaching job fell into my lap and I jumped at the opportunity to coach at Carolina CrossFit and loved it! Since then I have moved on to several different locations but the goal stays the same: get people moving better, get them loving life and living longer using exercise as the primary medicine."
