"Ever since middle school, I knew I wanted to work in the field of rehabilitation, health, and performance. Growing up playing sports, I always enjoyed training for sports more than actually playing the sport itself. This led me to dive into the “why” behind training and eventually led me to receive my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Troy University and Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of South Alabama. My wife, Rachel Thibodeaux, and I have been around CrossFit for the last seven years and have been able to not only become healthier physically, but have also been able to grow closer in our relationship through the sport. I am a nerd at heart and have developed a passion for learning more about the complexity of the human body. Learning more about how the body works, although a hobby, has allowed me to better take care of my own health, serve friends/family/patients, and understand the finely-tuned complexity with which we were created. My goal is to help others become passionate about improving their health/wellness through a more holistic approach, addressing not only the physical components, but also the psychological, social, and spiritual realms.
